How long have you been in business?
Alarm Central Station formed May 1981 to sever the needs of professional alarm dealers from the Pacific Northwest for a creditable monitoring facility to serve their clients. ACS became UL Certified in 1984 to perform monitoring for the most critical facilities. Our services are available only through the professional alarm dealers - call for information on the Professional in your area - weekdays between 8 AM - 3:00 PM
What is your primary product or service?
Our sole reason for being is to provide the monitoring of at wide range of threats that impact on residences, businesses and institutions. We monitor the typical conditions of Fire, Security and Medical plus environmental conditions and critical equipment and processing functions.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
With a diverse security background serving the military and major Oregon business it became apparent that Oregon and Washington had many technically competent alarm dealers but lacked the ability to prove their clients with credible monitoring services. To that end Alarm Central Station became the first Contract Monitoring Center in the Pacific Northwest
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Alarm Central Station strives to instill in all its personnel the concepts of Asset Protection (Sound Security Principles). These principles influence the customer service rendered. Our service must be providing Security first with a customer service demeanor
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location - 14480 Jenkins Rd. Beaverton, Oregon from which our services are available throughout North America
