How long have you been in business?
Since March 30th 2009. I started Andruszko Painting at the height of the recession and I have never looked back. It was one of the wisest decisions I have ever made. I'm a small business owner who doesn't listen to all of the negativity in the media and I built my company on the notion that hard work will take you places and all of my mentors, coaches, and my father have all taught me the value of putting your name and reputation on your work, that is why my company is called Andruszko Painting and General Contracting because I will not do a job unless I can put my name on 100% of the time.
What is your primary product or service?
My specialty service is painting exterior and interior houses. These are my Services: ▪ Residential & Commercial Painting Services ▪ Faux Painting, Murals, & Sign Painting ▪ Residential Remodeling- New construction, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and renovation ▪ Countertops, Cabinets-Removal & Installation ▪ Acoustical Ceiling Tile Replacement & Repair ▪ Polyurethane/varnish of exterior and interior substrates ▪ Trim Packages- Installation of door, window, baseboard & crown molding ▪ Graffiti Removal and touch up ▪ Parking lot striping ▪ Garage Floor Sealant & Painting ▪ Pressure Washing ▪ Weatherization- Caulking & weather stripping removal/installation ▪ Fences & Decks- design, build, new construction and repairs. ▪ Concrete- Residential foundations, driveways, sidewalks forming, pouring, & finishing ▪ Tile: Repairs, Installation, sealing, grouting ▪ Demolition Services ▪ Sheetrock- Repairs, installation, caulking, taping, mudding and texturing ▪ Under-deck drainage systems-Design & build
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I’m a 2nd generation painter, a 3rd generation Oregon contractor & 4th generation business owner. Our company has over 10 years of experience in painting & construction. My father and grandfather, both named Bob, had a major influence on me as a kid. I grew up in construction and I love to do it. It brings me great joy to see a homeowner who is thrilled with the work I have been blessed with.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I conduct myself in such a way that it is pleasing to both God and my fellow man in all that I say, do, and construct.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
1 Location, expansion would be nice but I'm not banking on it.
